Sanjay and Elisa get into a heated debate over whether regulating AI is a complete waste of time
Sanjay completely shuts down the idea, calling it an absolute waste of time. He states that trying to regulate AI right now is like "standing in front of a train trying to stop it while it's going full speed." Comparing it to the early days of the internet
Elisa counters by arguing that the internet is a decentralized web, whereas AI is controlled by a tiny handful of powerful corporate monopolies that actually can and should have oversight.
Sanjay says AI automation isn’t going to hit every country the same way
"First-world countries... might be able to just print money and pay UBI, but third-world countries are going to suffer the most because their systems are not in place."
