Pretty sure I’ve never quite seen this rink like this. #Gophers fans are in for quite a treat, maybe only other time was when Minnesota hosted an NCAA regional back in 2003 when they beat Mercyhurst 9-2 and Ferris State 7-4 en route to their 2003 NCAA Championship.
Lion (2016).
Unreal Mother’s Day flick. A beautiful story. Young Saroo is a cheeky little dude & a huge beauty. Cant even imagine the mental toll he battled for 25 yrs. The unknowns are heart wrenching. Highly suggest watching this one & highly suggest you hug your mom today.
Manchester by the Sea (2016). Wow another Notebook situation w/ the waterworks here. Put a gloomy twist on an already Scary Sunday. Patty loves wheeling (K’s). Lee’s batting some demons but I hated that he wasnt there for Pat when he needed his Uncle. Unreal Film. Very sad film.
Life Itself (2018). This 1 hit different. So many sad twists/turns & pieces 2 unpack. Rotten🍅’s 14% makes me question everything about their ratings—BUT, what if theyre playing into being an ‘unreliable narrator’ just to hammer the true meaning of Life Itself? Filthy QTine movie
Warrior (2011). Fine, I’ll say it, I get emotional whenever I watch this flick. It’s an absolute ELITE quarantine movie. Yaknow how Frozen is a big sister-bonding movie, this one is the equivalent for brothers. Tom Hardy is a scary scary man, ripped the door off a tank!!
The Place Beyond the Pines (2012). Quarantine or not, this is an unreal movie. A young Brad Cooper & Ry Gosling do it again. Pretty sad storyline, feel bad for almost every character (Brads son=the worst). Idk what else I’m feeling rn. Weird little mix of emotions after this one!
Silver Linings Playbook (2012).
1st: I miss sports & I HATE the eagles.
2nd: Performance of the night goes 2 Robby De Niro. What a role! That double-or-nada action put on a dance competition, then that pep talk to go after Tiff?! Cmon!
Idk, maybe the best quarantine movie yet eh?
The Last Song (2010). Hannah Montana’s wildly angsty 4 a kid that lives on the beach. The little brother’s a beauty. Of course Hemsworth is rich. Movie had it all-church fire, love, cancer, music, an aquarium, bby turtles. 21% on Rotten 🍅 seems harsh but I get it. Ok QTine movie
The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). CHEESY. Took about 5 minutes for me to realize it was gonna be one of those “Quirky, Misfit Toys” HS movies. Felt like the first hour & a half took 3 hrs to get thru & the last 15 minutes were actually dec. I’d pass on this quarantine film!
Molly’s Game (2017). Pretty solid quarantine movie if ya ask me! Molly‘s super cocky—I respect that. Found out it‘s based off a true story after watching itrespect that even more. The judge was a beauty. Ending a movie with a Churchill quote about success is an unreal play, too.
The Notebook (2004). A little afternoon waterworks going. Not sure what else I was expecting to happen. Obviously an unreal movie, but in today’s climate? Idk, maybe wasn’t the best quarantine pick. Lordy, if I wasn’t sad and lonely before, I’m definitely there now
