π𧧠Happy Chinese New Year! π Wishing everyone prosperity, good fortune, and joy in the Year of the Dragon! π²Let's soar into this new lunar year with strength, wisdom, and courage. May your celebrations be filled with vibrant traditions, family gatherings, & delicious feasts!
Staff volunteers from Cargill had a fun day with our seniors on 23 November 2023. They befriended, played games & put up amazing singing performances to entertain our seniors. They also sponsored nice & delicious tea break refreshments for all seniors to enjoy on a monthly basis
Therapy dogs are trained to provide comfort and affection to people living with dementia. Their very presence can help to reduce the effects of anxiety & agitation. Our clients had a great time spending time with the fur babies and it left a lasting impact on their well-being.
Wishing Singapore a Happy 58th Birthday. As we celebrate National Day, letβs remember to care for one another in the community, so we can progress together as a nation!

Our THKSCC Therapy Team is committed to continuous learning and regular refreshers. They will conduct regular sharing sessions like this to cross share knowledge and any new techniques. Kudos to them.
On behalf of the seniors in the centre, a BIG THANK YOU to this group of regular donors (who requested to remain anonymous) for your donated wet wipes, diapers and thickeners received today for our seniors in the day care centre.

To help seniors maintain hand-eye coordination, our centre staff will engage them with a simple stimulation activity like lacing up coloured strings and threading them through perforated assignment cards. The colour-matching will also help promote cognitive functioning.
