@smerconish Meanwhile Trump had over $200 million in personal tax liability wiped off of his books. The J6 fund was just a political strategy to get him there. He’s enjoying this injustice.
@BrickCenter_ So did Castle. Castle should have been looking at where the ball was in case he had to advance the ball down court. Wemby definitely made a critical mistake by not looking for other open players who had eyes on him.
What’s there to smile about? There is a growing feeling of doom and despair spreading in our Country, and Trump is at the root of it all. This constant overwhelming sense that terribly destructive events are dominating our everyday existence, and preventing our rights to be free people. Prolonged uncertainty and conflict is creating a dark future.

@FoxNews The resolution was intended to constrain Trump, but it also unintentionally creates a plausible political off-ramp if he decides ending or scaling back the Iran conflict is in his interest. Instead of vetoing it out of spite, he should think about it.
@JoJoFromJerz I’m not a fan of either team, but the Spurs will roll over the Knicks in 4. The Knicks have nothing on the court to go up against Wembanyama or Castle or Fox.
The deeper question is not whether empathy itself is dangerous, but whether there are circumstances where empathy should be balanced against other more serious considerations like security, rule of law, economic sustainability, social cohesion, and National defense. A society must balance compassion with self-preservation; if either is neglected, the society may face serious problems.
This is a travesty. There is a growing feeling of doom and despair spreading in our Country. This constant overwhelming sense that terribly destructive events are dominating our everyday existence, and preventing our rights to be free people. Prolonged uncertainty and conflict is creating a dark future.
It’s just another miscalculation and blunder. Trump may have assumed military pressure would force Iran into a fast, favorable deal. Instead, Iran seems to have survived long enough to make the exit terms harder, not easier. Whatever off- ramp Trump takes to run with his tail between his legs, his self absorbing egomaniacal narrative will call it a win. The ones who really lost were the American people.
@elonmusk Given your argument, then Donald Trump should go to prison for being complicit in the J6 murders. How’s that for your citizen journalism views.
@cb_doge HOWEVER, a healthy information ecosystem benefits from both. The challenge is ensuring that information is evaluated by evidence and reliability rather than simply by who posted it first or most loudly.
@LeeHarris@elonmusk There are very good police men and women; however, there are also those who deep down are extremely racist and use a badge to enforce their views which results in injustice protected by a brotherhood.
Trump’s ill-conceived war against Iran was a total disaster. The end result? 13 American lives lost, 380 wounded, 29 billion dollars wasted, and America’s global credibility destroyed. And after all that, Iran gets to keep its stockpile of enriched uranium. Complete failure no matter how many ways you spin the narrative.
