We've had an incredibly disappointing experience with @cinchuk. Since buying our car we've faced multiple faults, and even the Cinch-approved garage has now identified serious issues. Why did Cinch sells us this dud? Terrible service.

It looks like this year’s harvest will be catastrophic. That should be a worry for anyone who eats food. If a disaster on this scale had befallen any other industry, there would be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Martin Griffiths talks to @PatriciaMary about how a divided world can address conflict @ChathamHouse
Thoughtful discussion about humanitarian assistance, the UN, enduring conflicts - and heartening reflections on the humanity of people towards their neighbours.

Martin Griffiths former U.N. undersecretary for humanitarian affairs, warns current conflict may create a generation of jihadists in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.
Warns “the removal of hope is an absolute sin if not a crime….if you want to stop a war, provide a version of what is better than war”.
At Chatham House he says the ingredients to end conflict are hope, mutual security and thinking about what happens after a war. “People die without hope - it’s really that serious”.
