we handmade 100 Apple Watch straps.
today, we've hidden five of them around San Francisco. find them by solving the clues.
here's how it works: we'll post one photo of a small detail from the city at a time.
you identify, go there, take your own, wider photo. then post it in the thread.
first correct photo wins.
remember to look up!
a postage stamp screen with no battery and countless limits, vs the iPhone ?
..and yet, internally at Granola, Apple Watch notes are now eclipsing iPhone notes for in-person meetings.
some thoughts from the workshop where we developed the Watch app
1 / x
couple of easter eggs for reading so far.
> if you’re on a call on your iPhone and you put it on speaker, you can take Granola notes on your Watch. as always, get everyone’s permission first.
> we support the Apple Watch “double tap” gesture whilst you’re taking notes for fast hands-free pause / resume.
now unless something goes terribly wrong, the watch heads are off for a drink
maybe product engineering for tiny screen / no screen devices is the future, maybe not, who knows.
maybe it wasn’t a projector pin, but now feels like a good time to explore form factors.
like most people who work in software my posture sucks and my physio tells me i have “tech neck”.
it was fun to work on a form factor so molded by people, so “anti tech neck”, and to do it with one of the most talented groups of people this side of Waitangi
hope the notes help 🫡
