So exited to be starting final year of college! I will be undertaking a research project and am lucky enough to be able to work with my favourite local species, lesser spotted catsharks. Project will focus on microplastics in Galway Bay, using the catshark as an indicator species

Started a work placement at the @MfrcGmit. A great opportunity for me to get hands on experience in the lab. I will be research assistant to a master's student who is investigating whether Nephrops can be used a flagship species when referencing micro plastics! #microplastic
