Running for US Senate against "Goliath" Graham. No shield, no sword, no helmet, just one small sling and one BIG God. Putting servant back in "Public Service."
71 Thank Yous & 1 Request
To the 24,000+ South Carolinians who trusted me with their vote: Thank you.
This 71 day campaign was never about a title. It was about serving people and giving South Carolina another choice and another voice.
I share my gratitude, one final request, and why nothing has changed.
But one thing remains the same... Just Call Me Thomas.
#JustCallMeThomas #SouthCarolina #ThankYou #FaithFamilyFreedom #CommonSense #SCPolitics
What do you do when you leave the campaign trail?
You take your family to serve on the camp trail.
For more than 29 years, we have been blessed to be a part of Jaycee Camp Hope and Camp Sertoma at the Clemson Outdoor Lab, serving children and adults with special needs. While some campers have been here longer than us, some this is their first summer. The principles are the same... serve, encourage, challenge, and make camp be their favorite week of the year. I couldn’t think of a better place to be this week!
Today isn't about me. It's about whether free people will exercise their voice.
I pray that God will bless South Carolina, bless America, and grant us peace and wisdom.
I pray that God will do His part... and that we will do ours.
Get out and vote.

@FmnKaren Thank you FmnKaren for your trust in me and your vote. Please use your influence to tell others. Your words are gold. Thank you again, Thomas
Polls don’t vote. People do.
Tomorrow, South Carolina has a choice: more of the same, or a citizen willing to serve and come home.
No PAC money.
No self-loans.
No political career.
Just faith, family, freedom, and common sense.
I’d be honored to earn your vote.

@RepBobGood@RalphNorman@RepAdamMorgan I could not agree with you more Bob... "It would be nice if he occasionally, accidentally, supported true courageous conservatives... " SC does NOT want or need Lindsey Graham. "Courageous conservatives"... I love that... That's why I am in this race... Thomas
LG has had the "power" to stand up for our great nation and has FAILED miserably for 25 years. He had the ability to get control of our Fiscal irresponsibility, Restore law and order, Encourage economic growth, and End government overreach. Paul, I'll truly never understand why you support Lynch after all he said about you, your family, and after his outrageous statements. Surely you KNEW his claims and promises were not true, yet you held your tongue and allowed people to be deceived. Just another reason I entered this race. We need transparency and accountability from the people who serve us. Get in, serve with integrity, and go back home. I get why you never took the time to get to know me, but you do have other options rather than Graham or Lynch. Thomas Dismukes- U.S. Senate. https://t.co/KJmrzZbPWC. .

First of all, I’ve truly enjoyed my conversations with Patrick Hermann. We’ve traveled to several events together and have had the opportunity to discuss our differences openly, honestly, and respectfully. That’s something I appreciate.
While we agree on many of the major issues facing our country, there are several areas where I differ from Patrick’s platform.
For example, Patrick supports eliminating South Carolina’s state income tax. While I understand the appeal, that is primarily a state issue rather than a federal issue. As a candidate for the United States Senate, my focus is on addressing the federal government's responsibilities and the challenges facing our nation as a whole.
Patrick also supports abolishing the IRS and replacing it with a flat tax. I certainly believe the IRS needs significant reform. It is overly complex, intrusive, and burdensome to taxpayers. However, I believe meaningful tax reform is more realistic and achievable than simply eliminating the agency outright.
Another difference is the emphasis placed on eliminating Daylight Saving Time. While reasonable people can debate the issue, it is simply not among my highest priorities when America is facing a $39 trillion national debt, an unsecured border, declining trust in government, and growing federal overreach.
My campaign is built around a broader framework that I call F.R.E.E.:
Fiscal Responsibility – We cannot continue down a path of $39 trillion in debt and reckless spending.
Restore Law and Order – Secure the border, enforce existing laws, restore election integrity, and bring back common sense and civility in government.
Empower Economic Growth – Reduce regulations, unleash American energy, support small businesses, and create opportunities for families to thrive.
End Government Overreach – Return power to the people, the states, and local communities whenever possible.
Beyond policy differences, I believe my greatest distinction is that I am a citizen candidate. I’m not seeking a political career. I’m a husband, father, business owner, educator, and someone who has lived many of the same struggles that everyday South Carolinians face. I know what it’s like to work multiple jobs, stretch a paycheck, and build something from the ground up.
Patrick and I agree on more than we disagree. But if voters are looking for a candidate focused on constitutional government, fiscal responsibility, restoring trust in our institutions, protecting liberty, and returning power back to the people, that is the campaign I am running.
And as for whether either of us "stands a chance"—that decision belongs to the voters, not the political establishment. Every movement starts when ordinary people decide they want something better than the choices they’ve been told they have.
This is just one of many statements that have caused me to question @MarkLynchSC Mark Lynch's judgment, understanding of constitutional limits, and readiness to serve in the United States Senate. South Carolina does not need another career politician, nor do we need someone whose rhetoric and proposals fall outside the principles of common sense, constitutional government, and the values that have long guided our state.
It’s time to retire @LindseyGrahamSC

Great question. I agree with you.
A U.S. Senator serves in the legislative branch of government. Senators write, debate, and vote on laws — they do not enforce them. A senator does not have the authority to command military units or operate their own Navy SEAL team. Lynch does not understand the role of a U.S. Senator
SC has more choices! I’m Thomas Dismukes, a South Carolina husband, father of five, conservative, and REPUBLICAN U.S. Senate candidate running on the FREE platform: Fiscal Responsibility, Restore law & order, Empower citizens & economic growth, and End government overreach.
