@firstcitizens I’m old and don’t know how to send a private message….is it just too much to ask for someone to call me that can provide an answer
My phone # is in my bank profile
@firstcitizens If you call customer service you’re on hold for at least an hour!
Finally talked to someone yesterday and I might as well talked to my neighbors cat!…..
Went to the Kansas City branch and they had over 30 people in line!
Left 10 messages and no response…Just disgusting!
@firstcitizens@geezymm917 First Citizens should be embarrassed how the transition with BMO customers is being handled…..on hold for over 1 hour….long lines at branches….can’t get a call back!…Absolutely Unacceptable!!!
I’m so tired of hearing “Our grandparents could buy a house on one salary, but now we can’t even afford rent on two!”
Yeah, because Grandma wasn’t blowin’ half her paycheck on $12 iced coffee and avocado toast, that’s why!
Back then, if they wanted coffee, they made it at home. With grounds so strong it could remove rust. You didn’t drink it… you survived it.
And Grandma wasn’t out there “brunchin’.” You think she had time for brunch? No! She was at home, cooking something called whatever’s left in the house.
And don’t even bring up Uber Eats.
These people today are crying about money while living in a 4-bedroom house with two SUVs, six streaming services, and matching sleeve tattoos. You think Grandpa had a tattoo? Yeah it said “Korea, 1951.” And it came with nightmares, not realitic shading.
Oh, don’t even get me started on the kids. “We can’t make ends meet, but Brayden needs the new iPhone!” No, he doesn’t! You’re giving an $1100 phone to a kid who still eats glue and boogers.
When we were kids, the family phone hung on the wall. It had a cord long enough to jump rope with, and if you wanted privacy, you had to go stand in the pantry. And somehow, we survived.
And the TV? There was one. One.
It was in the living room, and Dad controlled it. If he wanted to watch bowling, guess what? You liked bowling.
Now every room’s got a 65-inch screen, the baby’s got an iPad, and you’re sitting there wondering why you can’t afford rent.
Because you’re living like rappers, that’s why!
Grandpa wasn’t out here leasing Teslas and buying $12 smoothies called “Detox Sunrise.” He was driving a truck that sounded like thunder and smelled like oil and cigarettes.
They lived within their means. Whatever Grandpa’s paycheck bought, that’s what they had. They didn’t try to keep up with the Joneses. They were just trying to keep the fed and a roof over their heads.
So yeah, Grandpa could buy a house on one salary. But he also didn’t have 47 subscriptions and emotional-support crystals. He had one support system, Grandma, who told him to suck it up and mow the yard.
Now folks are broke, tired, and stressed… and it’s not because of inflation… it’s because y’all keep ordering tacos from DoorDash like you’re royalty.
Wake up and smell the truth!!
Before we arrived at the place we are at today, before all the political bullshit, before this nation became so divided, filled with hatred, before all the corruption by both parties in DC., before Politicians sold out their country for greed and power, before the cesspool filled with rot and filth became the Swamp, before we all arrived here, we lived in a much different America.
There was once this place. A very special place. A very magical place. A place where your freedoms were a part of life and your privacy respected. In this place we loved thy neighbor and always helped those in need. We never lived in fear. We went to work, paid our bills and enjoyed everything this place had to offer.
We didn’t worry about politics, we just worked hard and raised our families the right way, teaching them about love and respect, teaching them about love for God. A really great place. Almost seems unimaginable, too good to be true, but it’s not. It’s very real. That place? The greatest place in the world. That place is the United States of America
If you were fortunate enough to grow up here, you know exactly what I’m talking about. We respected those in charge, we respected law and order. We respected police officers and we owe a debt that can never be repaid to our brave men and women in our military.
This was our America. This was the America we were fortunate enough to grow up in. Most would think there isn’t a better place to be on the world. So why would anyone want to destroy this place? Because that is what Evil does. It destroys all the good in the world and replaces it with hate and division. Evil doesn’t believe in your happiness, evil believes in misery. Evil believes in having the power to own you. Enslave you. Make you their personal property. Freedoms? Gone. Love? Dead. Your faith in God? No longer allowed. Evil wants control. Evil wants to call all the shots.
Evil took us down a path which met its crossroad. It was Good trying to defeat the Evil. It was Good trying to hold onto our America hoping and praying for help to arrive. Help did arrive. Help is here. You see there was a man who also cherished the America being ripped away from us. That man, a businessman decided to put his money where his mouth was and took on the challenge. He is fighting the Evil. He literally put his life on the line for we the people as well as our country.
Trump didn’t do it for the money, hell, he has plenty of that. He did it for two reasons. For love of our country and for love of we the people. We owe him a debt that can never be repaid and we will proudly stand with him until the very end.
We are MAGA. The real MAGA. Not just some spoiled posers who all went running once the shit hit the fan. We are MAGA strong and we not only appreciate all that Trump has done but we will all stand behind him till the very end, the same way he gave up his lavish lifestyle for all of us. Without him this country would be all but lost. Taken away forever. We don’t forget. MAGA doesn’t forget. Thank you President Trump. My two cents
