As fascinating as the Sagrada Familia is as an architectural wonder spanning 150 years of construction efforts, you would think the same attention to detail would be put into an elegant magic square (e.g. no repeating numbers)?! 🤓 There would have been time, wouldn‘t it? 😅🎉
Of course there’s a magic square at La Sagrada Familia… each row, column and diagonal add up to 33 - the age of Jesus Christ when he was crucified. The whole building relies on maths so look out for more posts explaining the key mathematical features of this beautiful building!
This is probably the best everyday application of quantum computers so far: wearing the qubit connectivity graphic of your slide as part of your stage-outfit. 😉🎉
God / nature / pachamama: we really think you should consider leaving the fossil fuels in the ground.
Humanity: ok, hear me out... how about a giant umbrella in space!?
@fchollet In the last 30 years Piaget has been proven wrong in many of his ideas (e.g. about object permanence and other functions of perception and cognition) by researchers who also observed children (e.g. Elizabeth Spelke, Susan Carey, etc.) So, yes it seems the way to go! :-)
What if we could understand what animals are saying? The @earthspecies project is using AI to decipher the language of the wild, and they're making groundbreaking progress.
Awesome work by my good friend @aza and team

Thank you to all our backers for an astonishing first week reaching over 25% of our goal in just a few days. We have been selected by Kickstarter as a "Project We Love" and the campaign will soon be featured in a major online news site.
We've received support from all over the world thanks to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram:
We are listening to your comments and suggestions about rewards and working hard behind the scenes to create unique and wonderful collectibles for this project. In the next few days we will be introducing a couple of new add-ons and will soon share an exclusive peek into the documentary itself.
In the meantime, please keep spreading the word to anyone who loves magic, art and unique characters - your social media posts, emails and direct messages can really help get us over the finish line.

… During the standing ovation at the end, the organizers hopefully understood why a writer like Daniel Kehlmann deemed a magician worthy of an invitation to an opera festival. ✨ So let‘s hope the film get‘s funded and finished! 🤞💰🥳 #juantamariz#artofmagic#themagicrainbow
Absolutely true! Tamariz is a master and inspiration to countless magicians worldwide. I’d love to see the movie and will donate. An anecdote comes to mind: I once saw Tamariz enlight a room full of opera afficionados at the famous Opera Festival in Salzburg…
Spain has the best magicians in the world. The reason is Juan Tamariz. He’s the greatest living magician and an inspiration. Here’s a movie about him that you should see (I have!) and maybe help it come out (I have!)

… in public and traveled to Salzburg to watch his public show in a nice old theatre. It was a pure delight and joy to see this opera-loving audience amazed, stunned and entertained by one of the best (and most inspiring) magicians of the last century…
