“Anti-war” can’t mean telling the invaded country to surrender while the invading country keeps what it took by force. Rewarding aggression encourages imperialism. Also, Ukraine isn’t just “some country we like.” It’s a sovereign democracy defending itself from an expansionist invasion. Helping an ally resist conquest is very different from launching a war ourselves. The burden of ending the war falls first on the country that started it.
