@AvantiWestCoast I was on the 17:53 Preston to Edinburgh train that was cancelled. Is there ticket acceptance with Transpennine so that I can get on their 19:04 Preston to Edinburgh train?
@mynameisceri_ Never got as far as court but I did get compensation from two different landlords for it. Have a look on the Shelter website, they're super helpful and there's a webchat you can use as well
What I don't get in this is why he thinks "the itinerary was set before the election was called" is a good answer? That just means he was always planning to leave early, which is surely much worse?
Mega-poll mega-thread/ How does voting intention look as the campaign kicks off?
First up: age. Age will once again be a key factor in how people vote, and currently Labour are ahead among every age group except the over-70s
Labour / Tory vote by age group
18-24: 57% / 8%
25-29: 59% / 9%
30-39: 60% / 10%
40-49: 52% / 15%
50-59: 46% / 19%
60-69: 34% / 27%
70+: 25% / 39%

Section 28 didn’t come out of nowhere.
It came from a society where 75% thought homosexuality was wrong.
From a society that feared the sight of a man in drag would corrupt.
From a society that believed ignorance was better for children than any knowledge of gay lives.

Is it right that the SNP, who started the day urging Labour to vote for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, have ended the day refusing to vote for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza?
@DFK007 @CllrScottArthur Expenses will fall as we won't be spending as much maintaining roads or healthcare for people affected by air pollution or hit by cars. Income will increase through public transport fares, more people can access the city centre so higher footfall and spending in local businesses
