@MrShermichael We need way more districts.
Until the 1930s, the House had been increasing in size with every census. It hasn’t done since. More districts makes gerrymandering more difficult & reduces the influence of money in politics by creating lots and lots of purple districts.
@espnhomer The last time that the sitting Bears quarterback had ever won a division title on his résumé while the sitting Packers quarterback did not: 1990.
Jim Harbaugh for the Bears, Majikowski for the Packers.
@ESPNMadison@ESPNMilwaukee@ESPNbd I think that’s mostly due to the fact that they suck at football, whereas most NFL teams are seeking pro talent that is good at football.
@johnamonaco Strong. Just like you said you were looking for. :-)
Area unemployment is almost half the national average. We have a number of area major employers that boost that.
Also, I sit on the board of an area Catholic classical school. I can speak to your local educational options.
@Peter_Bukowski Let’s only regard the first 58 minutes of the game in Chicago. (That is all Green Bay fan cares to count anyway.)
In 2 reg season games, the Packers could not outscore the Bears by more than one possession. If Gb is the superior team, it never translated to point differential.
@TitleTownTalks I doubt this. Suppose GB loses.
GB fan will find some perceived injustice or injury or iffy call to disqualify the loss mentally.
The alternative - admitting Chicago is good enough to be taken seriously and is at times GB’s superior - is too painful to face.
@Peter_Bukowski So you’re saying that if the Packers had made more plays, oddsmakers would like them more?
The two are 1-1 in 2 games that were decided by one possession. If thinking about GB as a 3-point road favorite helps you avoid the reality that 2 teams are evenly matched, God bless.
@_Leila@fatherz This is a generation so improperly catechized that I think the faithful need to be willing to disinherit their kids in order to protect against not receiving a Catholic funeral. At least then the wish is taken seriously.
@mfjlewis It been a bad century for the combination of collectivism and human dignity. (100 million dead at the hands of their own governments.)
Your point is fine as far as it goes, but +Barron probably deserves more benefit of the doubt than Zohran on who is closer to Catholic teaching.
@670TheScore@CoachWannstedt What’s also nice is that GB could have had LB3 and took Matthew Golden instead at 24.
Then later they took Anthony Benton at 54 leaving Trapilo for us at 56.
“Clark it’s the gift that keeps on giving the whole year through.”
@PackersNotes Bears fan here.
I am likewise far more worried about a potential Round 2 game vs. Philly than a Round 1 game against Green Bay, and I say that as a fan of a team that spanked the Eagles in Philly.
