𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀,

You joined us in 2019 as a young, modest rider full of dreams. Back then, even you could hardly have imagined those dreams would one day become reality.

You quickly proved your talent and not long after delivered the team’s greatest success by winning the Tour de France, followed by a second victory just a year later.

It seemed as if the future lay entirely at your feet until everything suddenly came to a standstill after a serious crash in the spring of 2024. Those moments must have felt endless, but you kept fighting.

A few months later you were back in the Tour, once again showing what an extraordinary fighter you are by finishing second behind perhaps the best rider in the world.

You never stopped chasing your dreams. Last summer you claimed your first La Vuelta victory and now, with the Giro d’Italia, you have completed the trilogy.

You have done yourself great honour in reaching this milestone. Achievements like these are reserved for the very best in the sport. But you have not only honoured yourself, you have also honoured the team. Your journey is now Woven Into History, marking a new chapter in our team’s history, and for that we will be forever grateful.

A woman in British Columbia, Canada named Bev York noticed back in December 2015 that her garden gnome had gone missing from her front yard. She didn’t think much of it. Eight months later, the gnome reappeared in a plastic bag tied to her gate, along with a hardcover photo book.

The book was written from the gnome’s perspective. “Hi, my name is Leopold the traveling gnome,” it began. “One morning back in December 2015, I saw a motorhome toddle along Finlayson Arm Road and I thought to myself, there’s got to be more to life than standing knee-deep in rainwater, being peed on by neighborhood dogs and staring at the same view every single day. So I hopped on.”

The rest of the album was photographs of the gnome on a road trip down the west coast of the United States and into Mexico. Beaches, Route 66, the Grand Canyon, margaritas. He came back rebranded as Leopold. Bev never found out who took him. The only clue was a single photo of a toddler cuddling him in the album, and she didn’t recognise the child.

@clausmat1 Det føles skamfuldt, at vi betaler Ukraine for at holde Rusland stangen, mens vi køber os tid til at genopbygge vores eget forsvar. Er det mon derfor, der fortsat er så mange restriktioner på våben-donationer, så Ukraine kan overleve uden optimal chance for at få overtaget?

@PeterMAstrup Det gælder ikke kun DR. Problemet med strategier er, at de er så pokkers forpligtende. Derfor er det en stor fordel at kunne sende aben videre til en ekstern konsulent, hvis man ikke når de ambitiøse mål.

@rasmus_soegaard @claravind Problemet er, at nogen har klassificeret alle oplysninger i sagen, og så ville det faktisk være strafbart, hvis hun svarede på det, hun bliver spurgt om.
De relevante sikkerhedsudvalg burde dog kunne enes om at frigive lidt flere oplysninger, end de krummer vi har fået indtil nu.
