Yeah trauma & cardiac arrests are what we all want to do. But a day filled with referring/discussing people with specialty’s/other HCPs rather than just throwing them in the ambulance & going to ED because ‘its easier’ is just as rewarding. Pre hospital care is cool.

I hope the Damar Hamlin case becomes a requiem for moving cardiac arrest patients out of public view. The moment he collapsed he owned the entire stadium and that’s exactly how it should be. Restart the heart before you depart. It saves lives.❤️

@JMoff79 @KHoulgate I got the impression Kirstin wasn't insinuating it isn't her job but portraying it is fatiguing which I understand. Care is care but hours waiting on the back of a DCA are emotionally taxing (for the patient and clinician).
