@chrisronayne Sat in the same loge in 1978 for Tribe game, then Muhammad Ali vs Leon Spinks with classmates Tom Davis and John Black, best night ever!!
@chrisronayne CR, As an avid outdoorsman in Montana, the Remington 870/12 or 20 gauge shotgun will suffice for almost all foul, anywhere, anytime...here’s my duck dog puppy(Chesapeake Bay Retriever), Lily
@MontanaMorgan75 Morgan, That looks awesome! I know its not great to deal with issues at hand, but cool pictures. We have crazy weather all the time in Judith Gap, but not the amount of rain like in the pictures. WOW! Hoping all worked out for y'all.
#EDLD657 We can't just have a custodian/Janitor at Judith Gap, we need someone with a Bolier license/experience, so I pay more than $13.50. With the calculations given for assignment, we have approx. 18,000 sq', 1 worker, which equals $1.28/sq'/year to clean our school. Go Cats!
#EDLD657 IAQ Nothing surprising, my school is in decent shape for its age. I run a school facilities checklist every year and this assignment fit in perfectly with my yearly walkthrough. The air quality in my office is quite stuffy (insert joke here)...
#EDLD657 LIGHT EM UP! Used a free Light Meter for assignment, seemed to not work as well as my instincts. All lights in classrooms and library seemed adequate, our ancient gym is dim! I host Open Gym throughout the school year and finally realized why my shot has been off...
An overhaul of our lockdown system is desperately needed. With only one administrator, who gets next to no help...what's one to do? This security update is another in a long line of things to be addressed in "C" admistration world. Our entrance system is fantastic! #EDLD657
@ShawnHarkins3 Shawn, Our schools look familiar, just replace your tan carpet with my blue carpet. I'm lucky, last year they installed preventative access doors at the main entrance and it seeems to have made a positive impact on my school. Safety is expensive! #EDLD657
Just completed the assignment for Unit 6, the average for Judith Gap School was 40 dB, that looks like 10 dB from the recommended empty classroom rating. Old school = weird random noises, possible at any time. USA are WWC champions! Great day for USA sports! #EDLD657
Went through my school and found out that Judith Gap schools loves their door wedges!! School looked reasonably OK on fire violations from video and readings. Check out the 4th of July theme of the blocked door. Extinguishers in school were all certified last week. #EDLD657
@MontanaMorgan75 Morgan, Love this article, makes perfect sense as I sit in my windowless/fanless office and wonder what it looks like outside, am I part of that job satisfied 90%? Tom #EDLD657
Read a LEED article about getting the best people to help plan for a LEED project. Interesting that LEED teams are just like schools, people come & go, but the culture of the group always remains, schools should take this to heart, that culture is crucial to achievement #EDLD657
Outside of Judith Gap School, super quaint but difficult for someone with any serious disabilities. Our main entrance which no one uses is inaccessible, as is the fire escape. Ramp is working great. Happy Sunday! #EDLD657
ADA inspection went well, tons of details to absorb. My school is old and not surprisingly out of compliance in many areas. Stairs seem to be the biggest issue. Heard of a local who in a wheelchair for a few months and his buddies had to carry him/chair up 3 flights. #EDLD657
After assignment #2,my school is compliant with the assessment, but some cleaning up needs to be addressed. I went through school and facilities with a fine-tooth comb. Our shop is in good shape, they played varsity hoops in our tiny gym until 2010, I can't even imagine. #EDLD657
Interesting start to class, first time Twitter user. I found the Fact Sheet particularly interesting in that girls get injured more often than boys in palyground accidents. After assessing my school's playground, it seems that we are more or less compliant. #EDLD657
