It's also extra funny because the later releases do get localised, and they opted to cut the voice acting as much as they can. Rendering the mostly fully voice-acted game mute, taking away one of its charms.

Deadass, the only reason why the first Growlanser probably didn't get a release outside of Japan was probably because it was almost fully voice-acted and it was a two-disc game.

I couldn't see any other reason why which is a shame considering that it's start of THE GROWLANSER.

With so many authors crashing out that their multi-book fantasy epic stories could rarely get the greenlight for publication, all I could think of is what they might long for is a publication in the way of a Light Novel serialization.

Though that will put a tighter deadline.

There are so many Light Novels that I wish could have gotten proper translation and world-wide publication.

Arslan Senki, Guin Saga, Grancrest Senki, and more.

Some of the adaptations do get released world-wide and translated, but most, if rarely any, didn't finish the story.
