Don’t trust that someone is never going to betray you; Trust that you’ll be able to handle it if they do.

26 years after his first Oscar nomination, Martin Scorsese finally broke through and won both Best Director & Best Picture for his 2006 masterpiece- The Departed. The Departed is a film that introduced a generation to Martin Scorsese. For many filmgoers under 40, they experienced Scorsese for the first time through this film and never looked back. From the editing to shots of Boston to the music used throughout, Scorsese is firing on all cylinders. But above all, the best part of The Departed is how Scorsese brings together career performances from a historically talented cast. This is the last great performance from Jack Nicholson, who is magnificent & unpredictable in every scene. This is the best performance of Mark Whalberg's career & brought him a much-deserved Oscar nomination. And Matt Damon & Leonardo DiCaprio remind us throughout this film why they're two of the best actors alive. As the countdown to Killers of the Flower moon continues, don't hesitate to give The Departed a rewatch.

Have you ever tasted clean ice? Ice that has no minerals, no imperfections or smell of any kind?

It tastes like what I imagine a scalpel would taste like. Pre-surgery.

Asking cause I want to know if they just wash the scalpels in a dish washer or is there a sink?

[Manny Rodriguez @Thormr727]

@EverVulpe Is that where they got layaway?

[Manny Rodriguez @Thormr727]

Why are they playing football at the Rihanna concert?

Last nights dream was -

The world is now spinning too fast, but not fast enough for us to fly away. We all just floated around and couldn’t do anything about it. Rope, Velcro & magnets flew off the shelves. And not because ppl were buying them. Would’ve been great to have that.

[Manny Rodriguez @Thormr727]

@leahchu Making my “Go-Bag” now.

[Manny Rodriguez @Thormr727]

Had a dream I was in the #LastOfUsHBO universe. Don’t know how long I’d actually survive. Been up since 4am.

My 6 essentials are:
- iPod shuffle
- Shotgun
- Crossbow
- Fire Starter
- Walkies
- Camo

And to say the words “I’m not going to take the chance” suggests that he himself, despite what was written hours later in his report, didn’t know what the dog was going to do.

“I’m not going to take my chances” - Luis

A known to be friendly dog was shot by a @sanjuancityncr Cop after a neighbor, who was maybe tired of them escaping, called the cops.

We’re not stupid, Luis. We know these cameras have pre-recording.

The problem for San Juan now…

If a low level cop is willing to do this, imagine what other shady things might be happening.
