What I didn’t know was that there have been people who have used that phrase hatefully to comment on the ethnicity of others.
I believe all are made is God’s image, Christ died for the sins of the world, and that all are precious in His sight. #noracisminChristskingdom 2/2
Recently, I was made aware that certain high-profile media personalities have used the phrase “Christ is king.”
As a life long, albeit at times a prodigal, believer, I was overjoyed to see such a declaration of faith.

@rickhfox It’s also objectively not true. The extra ordinary claim that “I won the lottery” is easily proven with a ordinary lottery ticket that has the correct numbers. Someone playing the lottery is very ordinary, winning it is extra ordinary and is very easily proven.
@rickhfox I did not say, “let’s hire that guy as a writer.” I said, “I didn’t hate those films.” If that is his track record, he should be done. People deserve flops when that is what they are hiring.
@rickhfox Alan Moore has always suffered from being a pretentious jerk. If comics are art, and they are, don’t be surprised when people are enraptured with them and want to see them on screen.
@rickhfox A. You’re right as always, bro. B. That type of moral relativism only exists in safe and secure societies. NOONE thinks morals are relative when they are on the receiving end of torture, rape, assault, etc.
Perfect example of impractical, ivory tower thinking.
I tend to be a free market kind of guy, but with @Hasbro , a toy and game company, laying off 1,100 people two weeks before Xmas while their CEO makes almost $10mil this year, that is the height of corporate sleaziness. That guy deserves to get coal for Xmas at the very least.
@rickhfox#Encanto ia pretty good, though the music is mostly forgettable, with one song as an overhyped exception. #Coco is criminally underrated with a fantastic soundtrack.
@pureMetatron I, for one, appreciate your academic neutrality. Keep up the good work.
In my opinion, to boycott the show, even if it is on Disney, tells the decision-makers that there is no audience for historically-accurate, dramatic story telling. This hurts more than it helps.
