Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to educate people that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.
This year we're doing a spin on Sober September, and instead of asking people to give up a vice for 30 days, we're asking you to become Sober Curious!

Changing the narrative on how we view sobriety is empowering. It's not about what we are giving up: it's about what we're taking back. We get more time, more energy, mental clarity, better health and stronger relationships.
Be kind to yourself. Recovery is one day at a time. Some days may feel better than others, but regardless youβre moving forward on your recovery journey. Sometimes a journey can have detours or you might get lost, but thatβs okay too. Use your recovery tools to press on.
Recovery looks different for everyone. Remember, dear friend, your recovery journey is unique to you. Embrace the power of individual growth during this time, and let go of comparisons to others during their journey.
Recovery is a testament to the power of self-discovery, acceptance, and love. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space where individuals can heal, grow, and thrive, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Happy Pride Month! π³οΈβπ
