As a former prosecutor, I know that people who engage in deviant sexual behavior don't just do it once. This appears to be the case with Kavanaugh.

There are many judges @POTUS can nominate who don't have multiple sexual misconduct claims against them.

Kavanaugh must withdraw

[Laurence Tribe 🇺🇦 ⚖️ @tribelaw]

We have 3.5 days left till the hearing. Where is the FBI? Why isn’t it investigating what happened that night? Why don’t Brett Kavanaugh and Chuck Grassley greenlight a reopened investigation? Dr. Ford asked that it be done. WHAT IS THE KAVANAUGH TEAM AFRAID OF?

[Joe Scarborough @ScarboroughNow]

Merrick. Garland.

[Joyce Alene @JoyceWhiteVance]

If allegations like this arose during any other executive or judicial branch employee background investigation, the FBI would go work. But, Trump puts his nominee above the rule of law, which is unacceptable for a Supreme Court Justice. https://t.co/PhOpXKozGp

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

And worth suing everyone

[Elizabeth Warren @SenWarren]

If Republicans have blocked an FBI investigation, bullied Dr. Ford, & tried to "plow right through" & put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court – all while holding onto credible information about a second sexual misconduct claim – then this isn’t a confirmation. It’s a cover-up.

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

@Scaramucci Puerto Rican. How about making that man a statue in the 51st state?

[Laurence Tribe 🇺🇦 ⚖️ @tribelaw]

“I’m not going to ruin Judge Kavanaugh’s life over this.” — Sen. Lindsey Graham. What about HER life, @LindseyGrahamSC? The lives of women whose choices about pregnancy would be taken away by men? The lives of all those whose rights a 5-4 Supreme Court would roll back?

[Jill Wine-Banks (now on Threads and Bluesky) @JillWineBanks]

For the good of the country and #SCOTUS, I hope @MichaelAvenatti doesn't delay getting his witness to testify before Senate (best choice) or that he at least makes details of her allegations public right away.

[Seth Abramson @SethAbramson]

WHAT'S HAPPENING:

1. The GOP thinks they may lose the Senate in 45 days.
2. Controlling U.S. culture via the courts is the GOP's top goal.
3. Big GOP donors have no problem with a rapist on the court.
4. Trump and the GOP will do things that *shock the conscience* to "win" here.

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

Awesome! Trump next!

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

Lol thank you! No 17 year old, especially back then, kept calendars. And they certainly don’t keep them for life. Nice try, Short Round

[Joyce Alene @JoyceWhiteVance]

My kids all just said, “he has calendars from when he was 17?”

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

GANG RAPES!!!! This guy wants to overrun Roe V Wade because he wants to spread his seed more than Starlord’s Dad in Guardians of the Galaxy 2!

[Sarah Reese Jones @PoliticusSarah]

"Michael Avenatti doesn’t have to wait for the Senate Judiciary Committee to open their process to his witnesses. Avenatti could hold a press conference tomorrow and go straight to the media. Avenatti has got multiple witnesses..."

[Michael Avenatti @MichaelAvenatti]

I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.

[Thor, God of Thunder @ThorSmithstein]

So... Trump nominated GANG RAPERS?

[Seth Abramson @SethAbramson]

4/ I wonder if GOP voters realize that they can back away from Kavanaugh—though you only have, like, a few minutes left to do it with dignity—without any loss of face. It's not your fault Trump and GOP politicians deliberately hid from you the results of their Kavanaugh research.

[Seth Abramson @SethAbramson]

I can't yet say if the multiple witnesses alleging Kavanaugh and Judge set up gang rapes are credible but I think just to be on the safe side someone needs to ask Lindsay Graham if it's okay to ruin someone's chances of being on SCOTUS for orchestrating gang rapes of drunk women

[Michael Avenatti @MichaelAvenatti]

Brett Kavanaugh must also be asked about this entry in his yearbook: "FFFFFFFourth of July." We believe that this stands for: Find them, French them, Feel them, Finger them, F*ck them, Forget them. As well as the term "Devil's Triangle." Perhaps Sen. Grassley can ask him. #Basta

SOCIALISM! 🤣

[NBC News @NBCNews]

Farmers across the U.S. will soon begin receiving government checks as part of a billion-dollar bailout to buoy growers experiencing financial strain from President Trump's trade disputes with China.

But they worry it won't be enough. https://t.co/UecGDUjFwQ
