Mamdani is still consistently speaking up about Israel's crimes & atrocities, & is trying to build a broad coalition to do something about those crimes.

In coalition building, there's a difference between a comrade (with whom you agree 100%) & an ally (with whom you may agree on one or two issues & work together towards them).

Saying "I would only work with comrades who fully agree with me" is the recipe for dooming your movement to remaining a tiny ineffective minority. The goal is to unite the many against the few, not the few against the many.
