For too long, Southeast Iowa has watched good manufacturing jobs disappear.
Now, a $15 billion steel investment is bringing 1,750 permanent jobs and up to 6,000 construction jobs to our region.
This is an opportunity to rebuild our manufacturing base and create a stronger future for Iowa families. Proud to have helped deliver it! 🇺🇸
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.
I come from your future.
In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream.
Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
Trust me. You don’t want to be France.
For years, Democrats have worked to restrict drilling, stop permits, and shrink refining capacity. Then they show up at election time and pretend they care about high energy prices.
Harris County energy workers know better. More American production = more jobs, more supply, and ultimately lower prices long-term.
Republicans deliver energy dominance. Vote Republican. 🇺🇸
@CrazyVibes_1 If you cook only the meats on shopping day, you don't have to wait for them to thaw, and you can add the sauces for variety later. Hamburger freezes very well cooked and bagged in small portions, so eat the chicken first. Figure out small batch sauce recipes for pantry staples.
@CrazyVibes_1 If you make your own small batch sauce for the day, a new sauce makes the meals for the next day. Smoked turkey sausage is an easy variety meat with bbq sauce. Add a salad and a fruit for a gourmet dining experience.
Freeze the bread & toast enough for a meal.
In 1948, the Jews had nowhere to go, and the Europeans didn't want them back. The United Nations, at the prompting of the United States, said that the Jewish people could be established in their historic homeland. The original UN agreement made a place for a Jewish homeland and a homeland for the Palestinian people.
On the day the UN made that proclamation, all the surrounding nations—Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt—attacked Israel, a brand new country. Day one, no standing government, no standing military, no real international support. I have friends that lived there, and they heard people on the radio telling the people in the area, "Take a week's vacation. We're gonna drive the Jews into the sea." And somehow, inexplicably, the Jewish nation survived.
When we talk about the West Bank, we're talking about land on the west bank of the Jordan River. At the end of that war, the Jordanians controlled it. The people who lived there had Jordanian passports. Nobody called the people there Palestinians. There was never a Palestinian government there. Palestine referred to a region, like we refer to the southeastern United States. It was a name for a region in the Middle East because the Romans didn't want the Jews there anymore.
Then came the Six-Day War. Israel was attacked, and at the end of it, the Israelis had captured the West Bank. From 1967 until today, it's been a disputed territory. The Israelis, under a great deal of pressure from the Americans, put together a peace deal that would have given the Palestinian people the entire West Bank and half of Jerusalem. That was the deal on the table. And Yasser Arafat said, "No, we want it all." At multiple points in this story, the leadership of the people in this region have refused to make peace.
In the Six-Day War, the Jews took control of the Temple Mount, the holiest place in all of Judaism, for the first time since 70 AD. Then Moshe Dayan went to the Prime Minister and said, "If we give to the Muslim nations the Temple Mount, our holiest place on the planet, they will understand how much we want peace." So the Israelis gave the Temple Mount to the Muslim people—and it didn't bring any peace.
So, did Israel steal the Palestinians' land? The reality is that the Israelis didn't steal anyone's land. The Muslim world wasn't interested in the Palestinian people having a homeland. They're determined to drive the Jews into the sea.
This is why it is crucial for Christians to understand history and to pray for the Jewish people.
Today we remember the innocent lives murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, and honor the heroes who risked everything to save others.
We remember. We stand with Israel. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
I woke up at 2:50 a.m. to a very sad morning here in Galilee, Israel.
Our nation mourns the approximately 1,200 people killed on October 7 and the nearly 1,000 soldiers who have fallen during these three years of war.
What began as a peaceful Saturday morning on Simchat Torah, a joyous celebration of the Torah at the conclusion of the fall feasts, soon turned into an inferno of unimaginable brutality, sadism, and gleeful cruelty.
Entire families were executed. Young women were subjected to horrific sexual violence and murdered. Bodies were mutilated and decapitated. The head of one murdered soldier was reportedly found in an ice cream freezer in Gaza. An ambulance carrying wounded people was set ablaze, leaving some victims with almost nothing by which they could be identified.
Words cannot begin to describe the horrors of that day.
Yet our nation rose from the ashes with strength, resilience, and courage!
We have seen the hand of God on so many occasions. Most recently, the reported attempt to hijack a commercial aircraft carrying 174 Israelis and crash it in a 9/11-style attack ended with their lives spared. To me, their survival was an extraordinary miracle, another powerful reminder of God’s mercy.
The people of Israel have moved to the right politically, and many have moved toward faith in God. An amazing spiritual awakening is taking place. Though it may not last, seeing people turn toward God fills me with far greater hope than watching them drift toward hedonism, liberalism, and globalism.
We mourn. We remember. And we thank God that Israel lives.
Awaiting His Soon Return – Amir.
@BethMooreLPM Actors on a screen learn a script & emotions to present with it. Not everyone has acting skills, but many do. We want to suspend disbelief when the story is good. Ask God to help you notice inconsistencies over time, & suspend trust in people, but always trust God. Wait on Him.
Said Abdelrazek converted from Islam to Christianity and wasnt ashamed ✝️
For that, Egypt locked him in 10th of Ramadan Prison.
He was hung in a crucifixion position so guards and inmates could mock him.
They removed a cross tattoo off his body.
He still would not recant.
On July 15, 2025, they arrested him againthis time for trying to change his ID to match his faith.
The charge: terrorism.
The real reason: he left Islam.
His health is collapsing.
Medical care is being withheld.
His next hearing is October 21, 2026.
That date could decide whether he lives or disappears💔
This is not terrorism.
This is apostasy treated as a national-security crime.
Remember those in prison as if you were there with them. (Hebrews 13:3)
Demand his release. Share his name. Do not let this stay quiet.

Said Abdelrazek is in an Egyptian prison because he became a Christian.
They hung him in a crucifix position. They tried to remove his cross tattoo. Now they call it “terrorism.”
Hearing: October 21, 2026.
He could face death or life in prison in only 18 days!!
Stand with our brother in Christ ✝️
If not now when ?

A massive cloud of demonic influence is covering Western Europe and parts of the United States. The strong delusion arising from an alliance of Marxist, Islamist, and radical LGBTQ ideologies is blinding millions to truth and even the simplest logic.
The sad part is that those embracing this ideological cocktail are far more committed to taking their convictions to the polls. They vote in large numbers while many conservatives stay home, claiming that “politics is not for us.”
This goes far beyond Trump and his time in office. It concerns the future of America and what the nation will look like for decades to come.
The same is true of Europe.
October 7 was not merely a massacre of Jews. It was also an assault on common sense, decency, truth, and history.
For some, “Free Palestine” has become a new religion, invoked to justify violence and extreme cruelty. It has become an identity for those who feel alienated, offering a cause to embrace while rejecting the love of the truth that could save them.
It is time for every conservative to view voting not simply as a privilege, but as a duty. Our choices have consequences for us and for our children.
God commanded the people of Israel:
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;”
Deuteronomy 30:19, NKJV
We must choose. We must vote.
Our future and our children’s future are at stake.
Go vote!
@rabbriansamuel The New Testament was written during impending persecution from the Roman Empire, & such instructions protect women: leaders were & are targeted. Men listen to other men better than they listen to women. Yet women should have opportunities to use their gifts. Need wisdom/balance
I am once again reminding people that if what we are seeing in this age is indeed these many miracles, the story in the Book of Numbers demands that we recognize them, humble ourselves, give thanks, do not lose faith, and keep on and carry on without fear or complaining.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
@rabbriansamuel It is important to understand that the LORD is the same in the Hebrew scriptures & in the Greek scriptures. Jesus is Immanuel, God with us, who reveals more of the LORD's gracious character to us through His life & through laying down His life for all of us. Isaiah 53 explains.
@NMoonitz Check the church's website for photos of styles people wear. Your wardrobe may fit already. Also the website may have other helpful information, like start times for two kinds of services--the general assembly with music and a sermon-- and smaller study groups of similar ages.
