@sjggraham There's always some set of assumed adjectives in front of "meaning" that's left out of the discussion…even though they are crucially relevant.

@sjggraham Not long ago it was confusing to me too.

The term "meaning" seems to get muddled amongst the issues of "purpose," "design," (teleological) actual "meaning" (correspondence), and also the "ultimate," "objective," "multiple," "subjective," and "intersubjective" forms of each.
