@jamezqpr1 Want to see how we fare against one of the contenders first. That Middlesbrough game at home in a few weeks should be a good marker

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Very frustrating result but plenty of positives to take. We looked like a proper team, our depth is as good as I can remember, and Chair is looking back to his best.

#QPR

[QPR FC @QPR]

Held at home ⚖

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@QPRW12JA Wasn’t great for us cause he went from having Zanetti, Lucio, Materazzi and Maicon in front of him to having Bosingwa, Onuoha, Hill and Traore in front of him, was facing an extra 10-15 shots per game 🤣

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Might be an overreaction… but is Pierce Charles the best goalkeeper we’ve had since Julio Cesar? 🤣

#QPR

[Second Tier podcast @secondtierpod]

Has anyone actually tried to play Pierce Charles in midfield?

This compilation is unreal 😂

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@RockSand1903 I’d say a UEFA Goalkeeper of the Year and 2-time Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year would be a pretty good keeper yeah

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@qprclintdiaz Rob Green and Smithies came to mind. Green was a great servant and smithies was very solid, I just think Charles’ ability with his feet has such an impact on the team and how we can play

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@MattSouster Smithies was very solid for us and is a good shout, guess we’ll have to see but Charles has been immense so far

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@jamezqpr1 Very true 🤣 still crazy to think we’ve seen more in two games from Charles than we have in 12 years from anyone else

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@RtKody Yeah I’d give him an 8, very solid showing

@SteveH1982 Forgot Adamson 🤣 I’d agree with 8, was very solid

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Solid first half from the R’s!

Started well and got in some dangerous areas, but need to get more shots away and test the goalkeeper.

Charles’ distribution is a joke 🤣

0-0 after 45 ⏸️

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

🔵⚪️ With Kamara set to join, how would you rate our transfer window so far out of 10?

We’ve gotten rid of a lot of dead wood and everyone we’ve sign should be significant contributors. 👍

Should be more one or two more signings to come before the season starts too..

#QPR

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨🔵⚪️ Excl: Glen Kamara has agreed to join QPR, deal agreed also between clubs with Rennes and here we go!

Agreement on loan with an option to buy. Deal at paperwork stage.

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Great thread from @TheLoftInsights

We’ll benefit a lot more from having a quality goalkeeper who is both a good shot stopper and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Judging by the patterns of play we saw on Saturday, we should also be a handful going forward too. 🤞🏼

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@g97467221 Shame that, although finally have some decent depth at RB

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Quite the signing! On a free as well so very low risk deal for us 👍🏼

Back 5 for the first game of last season against Preston was Walsh, Morgan, Morrison, Mbengue & Esquerdinha…

Now we’re looking at Charles, Lamptey, Dunne, Edwards & Kemper

Statement of intent. 🔵⚪️

[QPR FC @QPR]

Tariq Lamptey is back in west London 💙

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Not believing this until I see him holding the shirt, I refuse to be lead on again… 🫣

[West London Sport @WestLondonSport]

QPR agree deal to sign Edwards from Southampton

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Poor first half performance but looked much better in the second half, decent point imo!

Plus in terms of the team above us all of Millwall, Preston, Hull, Ipswich and Middlesbrough drew as well, so could’ve been far worse

Bring on Monday night 👊

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

@DanHallett8 Completely agree! I’m personally not fussed about the playoffs cause I still don’t think it’s our time just yet, I’m just enjoying the vibes of the squad and some good football for the first time in a while!

[ThoughtsOnRs @ThoughtsOnRsss]

Remember when we went 12 league games without a win at Loftus Road under Ainsworth a few seasons ago? 😂

Makes me appreciate times like this even more
