FAK, Afghan, and other propaganda accounts are circulating a claim that tensions between the Police Peace Committee and the Pakistan Army have been ongoing for a month, alleging that the military attempted to establish a post inside a school in Lakki Marwat but faced resistance from the Peace Committee and was forced to withdraw.

🟢 Reality:

The claim is false and misleading and distorts the actual incident that took place in Nasr Khel, Sarai Naurang, Lakki Marwat, on 8 August 2026.

▪️ The Pakistan Army had established a free medical camp at Government Boys High School, Nasr Khel, to provide local residents with free medical check-ups, medicines and basic healthcare facilities.

▪️ The camp was not a military post. Propaganda accounts have deliberately misrepresented a welfare activity as an attempt to establish a military position.

▪️ The so-called Police Peace Committee reportedly obstructed the medical camp and prevented local residents from accessing free medical treatment and medicines.

▪️ The incident was subsequently distorted online to create a false narrative of a confrontation between the Pakistan Army and the local community, portraying the withdrawal of Army personnel as a defeat or forced retreat.

▪️ Notably, after the medical camp was closed and Army personnel were returning, local residents reportedly approached them and requested medicines, which were provided to them. This directly contradicts the propaganda narrative that the local population opposed the Army's presence or welfare activities.

‼️ Such propaganda deliberately converts a public-welfare activity into a fabricated military confrontation to create the false impression of friction between the security forces and local population, while amplifying the perceived influence of groups opposed to state institutions.

📍 Conclusion:

The viral claim that the Pakistan Army attempted to establish a post inside a school in Lakki Marwat and was forced to withdraw by the Police Peace Committee is fake and misleading. The actual reported incident involved a free medical camp for the local population, which was obstructed. Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE!
