@supremerouleur @ebiketips awesome - did you have a bracket to attach the baby seat? and if so, which one did you use? It is a definite attraction of the Urban Arrow Family - it has such a nice maxi cosi adapter
@supremerouleur I saw your review of the Load 75 on @ebiketips - I am looking at getting one but in Sydney I won't be able to try it before ordering. Can you share pictures of the cargo area with a baby seat and/or various passengers? I want an idea of capacity. Thx
@supremerouleur @ebiketips yeah that's what i'm thinking - main problem for us is that we are renting so although we have an underground car space, we probably won't be allowed to install a ground anchor - and any kind of chain we might be able to put in will be massively conspicuous, shouting STEAL ME!
@supremerouleur @ebiketips Also really enjoyed the light/nimble ride of the Christiania - tho it rattled like crazy and motor was crap. I'm imagining the Riese & Muller will have a similar light/nimble ride, with good balance, while also being as smooth/steady as the Rad or Urban Arrow. What do you think?
@supremerouleur @ebiketips We tried the Radkutsche Rapid and Urban Arrow Family at another store - both were great. But I'm not into the foam box on the UA, the seating position on the Rad was a bit aggressive for me, and I like the off-road capacity of Riese & Muller for camping trips
@supremerouleur @ebiketips Also looking into the Packster models - have you tried them as well? It's such a shame we can't try them all out. The shop that stocks them is getting a Load 60 in January but if we want the Load 75 or a Packster we will need to order now to get it before April.
@supremerouleur @ebiketips Tern GSD looks great, as does Yuba Boda Boda. I'm expecting a baby in April so need to start with something that can carry an infant and maybe progress to a longtail in a few years. So the box bike is ideal, esp. with a custom canopy to provide sun shade in hot hot Sydney.
Reading Invisible Women by @CCriadoPerez ... such incredible facts prestened in a straight forward way with a clear voice. It's changing the way I see so many aspects of our built environments. It's f***ing AMAZING! Thank you for writing it!
@Womindjeka I'm doing some research for Universities Australia on women and awards. It would be great to connect and share experiences. I'd love to hear your perspective. Would you have time for a chat?
@DarleenBungey I'm doing some research for @uniaus on women and awards in Australia, looking at gender trends in nominations, shortlisting, panellists and recipients. It would be great to connect and hear your perspective. Want to chat?
Wonderful feedback at my last workshop: "I have a full understanding of what feminism is now and would not be threatened to have a conversation with someone about it." #EmpowerPeople#InspireChange#Solidarity#GenderEquality
Super excited to be hosting another empowering feminist history workshop in two weeks. Join us for a beautiful evening of sharing stories and experiences. This time at @hypmotive_hub in Marrickville. More info here: https://t.co/EZbiTPO0eu

If you have seen our list of 76 articles demonstrating gender and/or racial bias in student evaluations - you will love this! I've just posted summaries for 75% of the articles. Summaries cover main findings, and are generally more precise than abstracts. https://t.co/ThKvKZqdWn
What proportion of US men in college / university have used sexual violence against a woman? Recent studies find proportions anywhere from e.g. 1.6% in the last year to 25% by the end of 4th year in college. Some studies assess lifetime perpetration, finding rates of 10.8 to 51%.
If a woman did nothing else except save the average gap in weekly earnings between men and women, $241.50, in just 15 years she would easily have more cash than the average Australian woman retires with. My @smh column. https://t.co/tFQmVgnjvd
When haters go after your looks and differences, it means they have nowhere left to go. And then you know you’re winning!
I have Aspergers and that means I’m sometimes a bit different from the norm. And - given the right circumstances- being different is a superpower.
