The bot is broken once again, because Twitter has randomly suspended (no reason/notice given) my “app” that I use to authenticate/post the simulations. I tried to submit a support ticket and they just sent me a password reset link…

Long time no see! Here to advertise that BlueSky recently added video support, so if you've migrated over there and are missing your daily dose of random three-body problem videos you can now see them here: https://t.co/aCRl7hNa9l
@OliverRCote The simulations are generated with a custom written Julia program, source code available at link in bio. Unfortunately Twitter banned the bot from posting new simulations a few months ago but old ones are still here and new ones are posted each day on other platforms!
While the bot can no longer post to Twitter, it made a great simulation today -- the full version is on the YouTube channel here: https://t.co/J25KvdHW3Z

@conorwhayes @TwitterSupport @TwitterDev @MartianClouds Cool bot I hadn’t heard of until today! You should port it to Mastodon/Tumblr if you haven’t already. Super easy and some example scripts on the bot’s repo that show how to do it.
Ironically this tweet has had no problem summoning lots of problematic bots…while this account is one of the “good” ones that was supposed to be left unscathed by recent rule changes.
Apologies for being absent the past few days -- Twitter finally revoked my free access to the v1.1 API (I was calling their bluff until now...) so had to update the bot to work with the (still free, for now) v2 API. This test means it worked and the posts should resume!
