Just straight disinformation engagement farming.
Keep seeing takes like this and I still ask myself, do they actually believe this? Or are they just trying to convince young/stupid people? Would love to sit down with a person like this and try to get to the bottom of it. Fascinating, in a Charles Manson sort of way

We need more “sunshine realists”: People who are sober and judicious even when things seem to be going very well.
It’s little use if our policy is only realistic when things go poorly. The point is to *avoid* that predicament by not getting carried away.
