If you use American resources for gardening you will most likely come across Hardiness Zones. This is a great system to use if you want to know if your new perennials will survive the winter without protection. As someone who lives in Europe where Hardiness Zones are not used it can be difficult to know what Hardiness zone your garden is in. Therefor I made this simple Global Zip to Hardiness Zone Converter which calculates your corresponding Hardiness Zone from your local average minimum temperature based on your location.
