Something to note here for Vancouver's Rainfall in July 2026. This is simply what a normal July actually is for us over here weather wise. It's just been 10 years since we have last seen a normal July for Rainfall.

July 2026 has had nothing extreme, nothing abnormal. Just that this is what statistically a normal Vancouver July is weather wise for Rainfall.
The only ENSO phase that is consistent with us having wetter than average Rainfall in July seems to be Super El Nino's, or either coming off or heading into one like in 2026.
1982: Well above average Rainfall in July
1997: Well above average Rainfall in July
2016: Slightly above average Rainfall in July
2026: Slightly above average Rainfall in July

You want to blame something, blame El Nino for our good fortune in Vancouver this July.
