Barry Morphew’s bond is now set at $3 million cash-only.

He was originally held on the same amount after his arrest, before Judge Hopkins modified it to a surety bond.

Given the new circumstances, there is virtually no chance she changes it back to surety, and good luck finding any company willing to take on that level of risk.

Barry Morphew has almost certainly tasted freedom for the last time.

It was a bad idea to completely ignore his bond restrictions, have a casual day out, and then hit two cars and take off.

Then again, it was a bad idea to murder his wife in the first place.
