It was in the 90s man. I also served with 1st Canada Divisions , Line Team in Sarajevo in 1998. Lots of cool Albertans. The rest of Canada has always bled Alberta dry. It’s never been a secret, and I wouldn’t doubt if the Albertans has a bit of distaste in their mouths about all of that. The U.S. took advantage of them too, Obama, Biden, the pipeline, a lot of shit Albertans have to be pissed about right now. I live just a skip away from the border of Alberta, they come here to shop. I know they are pissed about things. But they deserve to be, and I’m glad they are finally getting their own. I respect them for at least trying to be free.
