I see these stats, and I don't know where the reference is from.

Jason Kidd has 450 career blocked shots while Shai has 425.

Jrue Holiday is a PG. He has 541 blocks.

James Harden is debatable. He has played more PG than SG. He has 683 blocks.

Alex Caruso has passed Josh Giddey for 19th most steals in Thunder history.

Cason Wallace Career - Marcus Smart to Eddie Jones?

Looking at Cason's stats of PTS, REB, AST, STL, and 3s per 36 minutes in his first 3 seasons, and comparing historically those were the reasonable ranges I found.

Low End - Marcus Smart
6th overall pick who at his peak was the DPOY, and a starter for a team that made deep playoff runs. Smart never developed a consistent shot, but had an impactful career.

High End - Eddie Jones
10th overall pick (as was Cason) who peaked as an All-Star and All-Defensive player. The rate stats (except PTS) between the two are spot on, as are the FG% and 3PT%.

Cason getting as many points, is unlikely, but not impossible for him to get into the mid-teens. Eddie's stats look a little better overall as he was playing 39 minutes a game at his peak.

Just a last stat of how young Cason Wallace is. He is entering his 4th season tomorrow and will be 22 years and 347 years old. Eddie Jones was 23 years and 15 years old in his first career NBA game.

Who remembers the “Cason Wallace is going to sign elsewhere” offseason rumors?

@ShamsCharania NBA Champion Cason Wallace led the NBA in steals last season, while being 2nd Team All-Defense.

He is just scratching the surface of his potential, with plenty more to come on a yearly Championship contender.

🚨🚨 Cason Wallace, the NBA leader in steals last season, is an absolute gem, and so glad to see him agree to a long-term contract with the Thunder.

The Thunder ability to take-and-make 3-pointers is my top issue for the team heading into the season.

Isaiah Joe was an absolutely elite shooter in both volume and percentage. Dort and Wiggins had high volume, but did have percentage regression last season.

Jared McCain has the potential to be a top gunner. JWill has proven himself. Kenrich as well, but where he fits on minutes is a question.

Need improvement from Cason (he did shoot 48.4% in the playoffs), Caruso, JDub. Shai might get some more attempts in with Ajay and JDub healthy.

This could be solved just with bounce-back years, but there's also potential there's a big hole here for an elite team.

2nd Rounder Otega Oweh on a two-way contract is out for the year. Terrible injury.

The Thunder make good use of their two-ways and have had a number of players go from a two-way to a regular contract.

Honest question if the Thunder remove the two-way from Oweh so they have that spot for another player.

Thunder PR:

Otega Oweh has sustained a torn Achilles tendon. He had surgery for it today. He will miss the 2026-27 season
