Let me tell you about how @AbsaSouthAfrica is a #trashbank! My mom been banking with them for her entire teaching career and into her retirement. She got hacked from her Absa app and instead of assisting @AbsaSouthAfrica told her its her fault for not being extra careful! (1)

@AbsaSouthAfrica How are people supposed to trust that their money is safe if it can be stolen by phone call (without revealing any personal information) on an app that supposed to be secure? And what kind of support to you give your customers when you know their money is stolen?

@AbsaSouthAfrica says it was her responsibility to check with them if it was them calling. Now in retirement and with her little pension she has to pay back @AbsaSouthAfrica money they know was stolen through their app. And further told her she is lucky to be get anything! (4)

How it happened: she got a call from someone pretending to be from Absa regarding the #R99scam informing her that all the R99 taken from her account has been compensated. The person told her to check her account that all her money was back. (2)
