Chris Martin spoke about JIN and BTS while recalling their “My Universe” collaboration:

“I love every member of BTS. I’d do anything for them. I didn’t know who BTS were. And someone said, ‘Oh, Jin from BTS. They want you to do a song for them.’ I sort of was like, haha. Then I started to look at who BTS are, and I really liked it. I thought this is an amazing thing to do for Coldplay and BTS. No one would think that’s going to work, we’re a NME band and they’re a pop sensation and that made it really exciting for me.”
