@usedgov If a 2nd grade teacher does not know what to do when a child can’t read, it is not the education program that is the issue. Did you even pay attention in your methods classes? Yikes. I want to know what teacher said this quote. C’mon. What a lie.
@elonmusk School teachers are worried about their students eating a healthy meal, coming with appropriate coats & shoes, and making sure that they get the best education possible to read, write, and calculate. Before you demonize educators, spend one week inside classrooms. I dare you.
Trump’s administration wants you to believe they ended DEI because they want “merit based hiring & promotions.”The same administration that wants to make Linda McMahon the Sec of Education. She has never worked in a school setting a day in her life.Tell me again it’s about merit?
@ChrisMurphyCT Right?! But she “didn’t need to have a tabbed binder.” Of course she couldn’t answer questions with any facts. You don’t need to refer to anything when nothing is fact checked or planned with any thought. Crazy what some people think is important for the Press Secretary. 🤦🏻♀️
@BehizyTweets Right. It’s not enough that teachers receive undergraduate degrees, pass rigorous practicum experiences, & then pass the state licensing exams. Not to mention continuing education on methodology when teaching. Let’s add another exam so teachers can “prove” they are qualified. 🙄
Only Trump can push out an executive order that transgender Americans are not fit to serve in the military…because transgender Americans are “not truthful.” How laughable from a convicted liar. The absolute hypocrisy.
@CollinRugg Yet Trump is going to “unleash” people for Top Secret/CSI security clearance into the White House without properly being vetted. Hypocrisy at its very finest.
September's #PiratesROCK trait is PRIDE: a feeling of self respect & worth. #PCR3Proud of our @PCHSHalls Got Character Pride students - Alaeyah Chleborad, Amelia Kidd, Grant Archibald, Hannah Swanson, Quentin Miller, Sofia Ramos, Toni DeBiaso, and Zane Miller!
@ChuckCallesto If it is true that this student is an ESE student from a group facility…THIS is why LRE is such a crucial issue and SHOULD not be a continuum of placements. Some students do NOT belong in a Gen Ed environment.
@Llana@POTUS Sure. I support this if it is a GROWTH model of success and students with special needs are taken into account as growing per their goals, not a standardized scale. How do we do that?
@POTUS What you need to do is bring them to the table when you make policy on education. Most needs currently come from policy that makes it hard to do our jobs well.
