We've had 10 months of random people on the internet pretending to be ballistics experts without even knowing the exact type of ammunition that was used.

Then, today we finally learn that a Remington Core-Lokt soft point round was used, a controlled-expansion hunting bullet with a copper jacket and exposed lead tip that is intentionally designed to deform and expand on impact, preventing full penetration.
