$TAO vs #GTAO snapshot is kinda wild 👀

At current prices:
• TAO: $283.47
• GTAO: $18.41
• GTAO NAV/share: $5.38 → Implied: +242.19% premium (market vs NAV)

💸 Same $1,000 test:
✅ Buy TAO: 3.528 TAO
🟦 Buy GTAO: ~1.031 TAO of TAO exposure (at NAV)

That means GTAO is giving only ~29.22% of the TAO exposure you’d get by just buying TAO directly (at this snapshot).

Not saying it can’t stay irrational longer than we can stay solvent… but the spread is the story here.

If GTAO’s premium dropped to 0% (price = NAV) and NAV stayed the same, GTAO would need to reprice about -70.8% from here (aka ~3.42× lower).

Spread stays this wide = big disconnect between “TAO exposure” and “price paid.”

@candlestao Casually maintaining insane emissions and taoFLOW for a MONTH straight, plus 800 $TAO, all while the price is abysmally low compared to other peers in the 0.01t range with the same amount of flow.

The way I see it, people are slowly accumulating, but the price hasn’t reacted yet.

It’s one of the first subnets I’ve come across that has real in-house token utility because of the buy pressure the prize pools put on its alpha token.

You enter a prize pool with TAO and other cryptos soon, the subnet script uses that tao to buy it's native currency and some will be burned!
