Cute, non-binary (he/they) gamer and web programmer. I tweet a lot of random thoughts. Opinions are my own, of course. I make terribly specific, unfunny jokes
I'd like to report Twitter.
I blocked someone so I don't see their tweets, but now they're sending me emails with this person's tweets because they're popular.
Actual garbage, intentionally harmful. Somehow this hellsite is still in freefall
Just installed this to get a "web" version of @TheHIVE_Social (at least until there's an official one)!
So if any of y'all were holding off on creating a #Hive account because it didn't have a web, now it does! Also, if you want, go follow me on there! Same @ as here! π€
@gimp_dapimp Haven't seen true browser access yet. They have an iOS app and an android app in beta. I've seen tweets of people using LDPlayer to emulate their way into it from desktop.
Hive seems interesting, but no web interface and only an Android beta kinda leaves me out for now.
I'm also not sure how it improves on the microblogging formula. Profile music seems nice, but I'm wondering how long it'll last.
American healthcare is fun because I feel like Iβm in a Game of Thrones style story of political intrigue between the warring factions of my doctor, my insurance company, and the manufacturer of my medication who all disagree with each other and meanwhile my colon is like
It seemed a bit silly at first, but my Digimon fitness tracker has done waaay more for my movement motivation than the "adult" health tracker watches I've tried.
Why does the block chain?
Seems like most descriptions really come from the purported emergent properties of tech companies' claims for using it... Which feel circular
Ultimately, it feels like sufficiently confusing tech simply attracts capitalistic grift
I guess I'm just very used to Linux, but Mac makes me feel like I need to maintain the other half of the OS that Apple thought no one would use, but whole communities have had to develop these tools to just make the dang OS usable.
It's either the golden path or broken π€·
Sorry I canβt come to the phone right now. Iβm autistic and donβt do calls. Please call back never. Texts and emails exist for a reason. Thank you.
So WBD played some really stupid games and is winning some really stoopid prizes for it. Good
Entirely predictable consequences from a fuckwit decision. Fuck around and find out
Does it gum up the works? Do our accounts/ip's get flagged to *ignore* such reports so we see ads anyway?
I'm so tired of seeing the same 3 low-effort 'ad' spam posts from whatever company won the bid this time
So like out of curiosity, for a friend
What happens if we all start mass reporting every ad you see? There's generally an option to report ads, even those on websites...
