The AWS outage has impacted some of our users since last night, disrupting their sleep. That is not the experience we want to provide and I want to apologize for it.

We are taking two main actions:
1) We are restoring all the features as AWS comes back. All devices are currently working, with some experiencing data processing delays.
2) We are currently outage-proofing your Pod experience and we will be working tonight-24/7 until that is done.

We’ve been working with @OpenAI for quite some time so people can search and buy products in chat, and it’s something we’ve had a hard time keeping quiet.

Sometimes I hate technology, other times like today I told ChatGPT via voice while driving where I was driving from and to, and to recommend me the best restaurant under x price within 5 min of route and it found an incredibly delicious gem I would’ve never come across. Cool tech

If a simple coffee shop has a bot farm with 100s of phones to amplify their message, please consider what a foreign agency or adversarial operator is running on your favorite social media platform.

Especially today, please consider that the opinions you read, the calls to violence you hear, and the news you digest, are all an operation done to sow hatred in your mind and your soul.

Do not let anyone online turn you into something that you are not. Rationalize everything, take everything with a grain of salt, question everything for yourself, not based on how someone online is questioning it.

Turn off all distractions and focus on the mission you have, not the mission of someone trying to control your mind.

It’s pretty obvious that WW3 started several years back, the paradigm it would manifest in bullets and nukes went obsolete decades ago.

In WW3 the Pearl Harbor’s, Midways, Verdun, Barbarossa, may still be catalyzed by bullet(s), but you aren’t going to see many if at all inflection points via the clashing of raw force to gain the upper hand in ability to deliver physical damage.

The major victories and defeats in this paradigm will be the events that wake up the various pockets of the collective conscious to align with one of the root level value systems which are at war. I say root because there’s levels to each side. For example I think the root value system of the collective U.S is actually aligned, it’s just through a combination of misplaced (or exploited?) trust and upbringing that there’s been a major deviation…but it’s salvageable (see recent elections) and requires drastic events to return to root. Not going to go further down this rabbit hole but it’s also why the US was able to unify intensely after 9/11
