Our Sri Lanka Christian brothers & sisters have their Easter today in their resurrection in Christ. We pray for their families. St Paul, 2 Timothy 3 speaks of “ the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them”. His sacrifice rescues those martyred today.

In Qaraqosh this morning, witnessing hostility/savagery /destruction by ISIS in this historic village. Rebuilding it is an act of commitment in hope/faith/love towards reconciliation. Over half have returned, praying, “forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”.

Spending first day of three of “Bautha ( supplication) in Nineveh” in Koya and Harmota. With the choir of St Mary of Harmota. God’s grace is making our repentance possible and He accompanies us in this journey of fasting , mass and prayer. In Jesus we trust always.
