golden hour part 6 diary preview…

wooyoung: “i actually knew that there are more people who live without achieving their dreams than people who achieve them. and i also knew that not all of those people had failed lives. it’s just that i couldn’t apply that fact to myself. it was foolish of me.”

as if listening to wooyoung’s words, sopro shimmered with a ruby-colored light.

wooyoung: “life isn’t simply something that stretches out in a straight line toward a single point, you know. what i realized is even more important than that is eating meals with the people who are precious to you and sharing feelings of love with them. the strength that keeps me going in life actually comes from those small yet precious memories.”

wooyoung looked at the faces of the members standing around him, one by one. just the fact that they were all here, safe and sound, living their lives to the fullest, and that he could occasionally create happy memories with them, made life quite worthwhile. when he first brought soporu into the world, he wished he had helped it understand such warm feelings first.

wooyoung: “i’m sorry that, like a mother bird, i brought you into this world but failed to teach you about these precious and warm feelings. i hope you can experience them, even if it’s only now, sopro.”

sopro shimmered again in response.

as if the mother bird’s feelings had reached its child, sopro floated gently into the air. fine cracks began to appear across its surface, and eventually, when it had risen high into the sky, sopro burst like fireworks, painting a beautiful aurora as it scattered across the world.
