Today it’s Mrs Jones vs the TigerMoths. Mrs Jones chose ‘Billy’s Bucket’ and a child decided to pick a non-fiction book ‘Dolphins’.
We compare the books and talk about what we thought was the best.
Today the winner was..
We chose to focus our day on ‘The Queens Hat’. This linked perfectly with our topic of Kings, Queens and Castles.
We designed new hats for the Queen and created some guards to help protect the castle on our display.

@StFaithsTweets I’m sure you all learnt lots of animal facts from our Year 1 experts when they got home.
Woodside! We all had an absolutely amazing time at Woodside learning about all the different animals. We saw the meerkats, penguins and white wolves get fed. We even got to hold one of the snakes. Here are some pictures of the animals we saw.
Today the TigerMoths had some special guests. We met Jerry the Giant African land snail and Barry the Black Train Millipede. Some children were very brave and chose to hold the millipede! Much braver than Mr Kenny who was hiding behind the camera.
