Sunday morning update on the odds the #CBJ make it based on their final point total. Cool resource from a website called https://t.co/vfk8BeEHvd.

I made a quick chart so you can see the dramatic shift over the last five days... seemingly NO ONE (except the Flyers and Caps, who had much more ground to make up) wants to finish third in the Metro. Isles + CBJ losing streak is now at a combined ten games. Sens 1-3-1, Red Wings only +1 over CBJ in last ten games.

The on-ice product says the CBJ are done. The math tells a different story. 4-1-0 (or 3-0-2) finish puts them at 96 points and an 80%+ chance to make it.

Win two of three on the road trip, come back home and win both, and see how the chips fall. Was the players only meeting Saturday night enough for this to realize their backs are against a wall?
