@angelogriego@DevonESawa I think discomfort and awkwardness can lead to people sitting with themselves and best case scenario, opening their minds to acceptance. Change doesn’t happen in situations of comfort, unfortunately. If they’re committed to bigotry in privilege, I hope the discomfort never ends.
@NormalRoom They’re meant to never stay in place and —in defiance of god himself—get sooo many crumbs underneath them that get slowly ground into the actual chair or couch so thoroughly that they become inextricable from the fabric. Purely for the furniture-owner’s bedevilment.
Three things I’d really like people to understand about bipolar disorder:
1. Medication doesn’t ‘cure’ it. It’s a severe and enduring mental illness, and while medication can help control symptoms and episodes, it doesn’t remove them forever.
"we need to focus on other health issues instead of covid" is a wild take when covid seems to make most of them worse, and things like cleaning the air, wearing masks, and ensuring people have things like paid sick leave in fact improves many problems
