🚨 OFFICIAL: Pro Ref confirm “an error of judgement” in Haaland’s goal — also informing Man United directly.

“Following the incident in the 60th minute of Sunday's Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Manchester City at Old Trafford, we can provide clarification regarding Erling Haaland’s awarded goal.

“The on-field decision was offside against Erling Haaland – that was checked by VAR and he was found to be in an onside position.

“In the same attack, it was established that Enzo Fernandez did not play the ball and therefore that makes any offside offence subjective, however, on this occasion, the VAR did not recognise the likely impact of his position and should have recommended an on-field review.

“Contact has been made with Manchester United this evening to acknowledge what we deem is an error of judgement. A review of the incident will take place.”

There's an element of trust required on Manchester United signings from players who don't play for big clubs we watch all the time.

People can pretend they watched Atalanta regularly, but 99% of us didn't & we certainly weren't honed in on Ederson when they did see them play.

Ederson has my faith & backing until he proves otherwise & just as importantly, the recruitment team certainly does. They've earned it.

I’ve watched Ederson a few times and he’s alright, but the reason I’m very hyped about this signing and why I think he’ll succeed is because more than half of the Manchester United fanbase don’t rate him.

They all wanted Delap, Gyökeres, Sancho, Ugarte, Højlund, and wanted us to sell Bruno for Baleba, the list goes on. You’d think they know better than the people that signed, Sesko, Mbeumo, Cunha, Lammens, Heavens & Dorgu.
