@Eri05030391 Thank you for your message. We used to run Clubhouse rooms in Saho, Bilen, Tigre, Afar and Tigrinya on various topics, including professional networking via @EriLanguages. We are now entertaining the idea of having a more relevant and sustainable community.
We recently got this message and wanted to ask our followers what they think. Would you be interested in creating a community? If so, how would you like it to look? Message us, we’d love to hear your thoughts!

@vivaeritrea We appreciate your opinion. Our audience is interested in a communal space, professional or community, organized around language. In the past, we had Clubhouse rooms, and potentially in the future, we are considering other modes of connecting people.
@geezindigenous@vivaeritrea It’s a fair criticism, we hope others with that same concern can learn more about us and our agenda of language and culture. We used to host ClubHouse rooms in Tigre (aTigre-English-Arabic, lol) that spoke about various topics. We are thinking something along those lines again.
@vivaeritrea We have received many messages asking for a communal space where people who speak Tigre or want to learn can interact. We are trying to see how we can potentially help create that space. Our entire agenda is strictly language and cultural customs, you can learn more on our site!
‼️NEW ADDITION‼️
SpeakTigre Spotify account, with six and counting curated playlists of Tigre/Tigrayit songs and artists, is available!
Listen and enjoy! 👂🏾🎧🎶

@seberqexe Right now, we are just doing general summaries. We have gotten a lot of interest in complete lyric translations, so inshAllah, we can work on that soon. Thank you!
As we approach Eritrean Independence Day on the 24th, share links to your favorite Tigre songs acknowledging, commemorating, or celebrating the holiday. We will respond with a short summary/translation for each.
