1. Words that end in short vowels like จะ
2. Words that have a stop consonant: Ending in ก (-k sound), ด (-dt sound), บ (-b sound).
Slightly complex. List of indirect letters falls into those 3 sounds. like ถ at the end is a dt sound = รถ/ car

@DNuatun @misumipy You dont memorize it because its second nature. Native Thai speakers learn differently. You learn in parts throughout school and unconsciously put it together. ts second nature.
But for adult foreign learners, reading and writing is condensed into 1 semester. The chart DOES help

@misumipy Its easy. To drill in the consonants and vowels. And tone chart. Thats literally all it is. Its very phonic for Kra-tai words.
Pali and Sanskrit loan words are the exceptions to the rules and have extra grammar rules.

@TarotYouuuu English breakfast keeps you full for many hours because of how much protein and fat is in it. Workers would use that as fuel.
We use Carbs/rice as our main fuel, and hot weather means smaller, multiple meals throughout the day.
Just different needs for different climates.
