One thing I did not know about @getairchat ...
It has its own version of "banklinks" called stitching.
Basically you can ... stitch a chit into a chat ~ which over time creates an interconnected web of conversations.
Does twitter have its own version of this?
I love how @naval & team innovate with @getairchat:
* short audio clips (chits) linked together
* visible transcripts
* auto translation
* ai generated images
* end to end encrypted messaging
But ...
How long until its copied? Can it stay authentic at scale? Will users stick?
@GSUS19207360 its going very well indeed ;) the long haired pony is back as my pfp so we all know what that means. Hows you? I guess you didnt see my discord dm reply. Not a surprise ... im not on discord much either.

@DayanaBreathe@0xSigil@getairchat i just love how airchat as a tool enables creativity.
short chit + air art + transcription is great for poetry. I had not considered this.
reminds me of gaba podcast innovative audio poetry meditations.
@grin_io@getairchat@BrianNorgard is there a way to check recently published chits on the web ?
right now i have to :
1) go to a profile,
2) click a room,
3) sort by recent
would be great if there was a "latest public chits" view for those like me who can only lurk but not participate ?
Here is an example of what I am talking about:

If airchat can retain this feeling & experience then it has a good shot at being around for many years to come.
I feel more of a personal connection with the people Ive chatted with. Like if I met them in person I’d know they were my Airchat friend, whereas meeting Twitter people IRL takes me a bit longer to figure out

Most of these are either good housekeeping or provide short moments of joy & help users overcome install/registration friction.
But to stay active - it has to offer more than that.
I would stick for:
Strong community
Authentic conversations
Good discovery
You?
@beffjezos@neuro_morphic@getairchat I cant wait to love it more. For now we have a long distance relationship where i lurk from the sideline on the web. Even thats good.
I love this Proof of Work test by the way @elonmusk
My account is "old" 2021 account, with little activity because I wasnt bought into twitter at the time. But i returned this week and glad to see I put enough work in. Will difficulty increase?
@geoframeai Yeah circulation very low with super high market cap 🤣 With no twitter presence pretty sure ill have to wait till public beta before I can try this out. The web access to some of the chits is useful - but only 5% of the total experience.
@dharmesh Exploring, discovery and hacking around undocumented code can be great and generate some good momentum in early days of a new platform (eg birclout).
The momentum needs to be maintained though and then requires docs, sdks and good examples. As well as community.
@altryne@dharmesh@getairchat@BrianNorgard@0xSigil right now ? long long time sadly.
apart from scraping some data from _next/data endpoints and trying to figure out the undocumented api. Been fun exploring though. Streaks in the app yet cause its in the code.
